Daken stood outside the entrance to the library, waiting patiently for the other man to arrive. He normally wouldn't be so understanding for such tardiness, but since he'd arrived on the island, he had been trying to maintain a helpful persona. Even without the persona, it wasn't every day you had the opportunity to spend the day with the Leonardo Da Vinci. The things he could coax out of this man...
Assuming he wasn't a complete whack job. From the brief conversations he had with the man, he seemed like the real deal, but he had seen more ingenious con men in his day. But even then, having a con man like that close to him had just as much potential for Daken as the actual inventor.
Everyone had their uses. The trick was to figure out how best to use them.
