Kate was still in Bristol. Still dealing. She thought she was doing okay, actually. She hadn't forgotten about Wednesday because that was impossible and she had the nightmares to prove it, but... Jack waited until Emma had taken herself shopping before he called. He wasn't worried, exactly, but checking in still seemed like a minimal thing to do.

Mitchell wandered into the living room eventually, having checked up on George and Nina upstairs. He came to a stop in the middle of the room, squinting at the TV, a cup of coffee in his own hand. "...Why are we watching Gok Wan?"

So he wasn't completely awake yet.

"Americans," Mitchell muttered, regardless of his own love for really ridiculous TV shows (at least The Real Hustle had a point to it. He was learning!) and stepped back towards the sofa.

He made a sort of backwards flop into it that seemed about half intent and half 'oh, who put that there?'
