Another fine mess

I was headed over to J's this evening for the usual media night frolics when I suffered a flat tire. Of course I was in the far left lane, and the nearest turnoff -with-a-shoulder was a ways down on the right. I was lucky in that the person in the minivan behind me was NOT a maniac, so I was able to get pver eventually

Right? It's always some damned thing! Our tags are due and I nearly threw up when I saw the total for me, hubby and son- over $200 freakin dollars! I have to start selling plasma, I guess!

Tags?! Crap. Me, too. That's another thing I have to somehow come up with cash for. Too bad they don't take food stamps.

I've been hustling on Ebay for the last 2 weeks- just selling stuff around the house. Have made over $200 thus far. That will sure help us with tags!

I suppose I'm lucky a wheel didn't fall off, because mine, ESPECIALLY that left front, are bad, and every mechanic that's ever seen them has said so. That's one reason that tire wore out, it's out of whack from bad joints.

I wouldn't've thought "wine" from tasting it, just a nice liqeur kick. Yummy stuff, either way.
