S & T have postponed their departure for a day due to the death of one of the schnauzers last night. Now they're down to two, who are younger and healthier and louder and more obnoxious, but hey, schnauzersStormy was the dowager bitch of Macs's harem. Word. I feel bad for S, who's probably going to use it as an excuse to get plastered in Key West, but I can't do anything about her dog or her drinking. And knowing her, if she'd died on my watch, I would never, EVER have heard the end of it. She would've probably demanded her vet do an autopsy.

Life goes on. I'm off to get a haircut.

Oh, I'm sorry about the dog, but extremely relieved she didn't die while you were housesitting. That would have been the worst!

I'm sorry - I think it's always hard to lose a pet. Like the others, though, I'm happy for you that it happened before they left.

Nothing I did caused it, and there's nothing I can do about it, so I figure that's a best-case scenario.
