After church, WalMart, where I finished reading "The Last Olympian". Yes, it's tacky of me, I know, I own it---but there's a massive waiting list at the library, so I've worked my way through it in three sessions over the last week, and afterward went and picked up a couple things, so they ARE getting my business ( Read more... )

That is some doozie of a dream! Rudy sounds like a wonderful dog.

You know, with it being so hot, it makes perfect sense that you're awake at night. It's cooler then and you can get stuff done with keeling over from the heat.

I just had a thought: My childhood dog's name was Lady. (Don't expect world-class originality from a 6-year old.) LaDY, RuDY...I think I connected the two.

This morning, I ended up napping with my head at the foot of the bed, just because it was closer to the fan.
