I am all for the plain English approach. I get EOBs that look like they were written in Martian. And it would save the lives of millions of trees if they didn't feel compelled to include a glossary page with all the Super Secrit Insurance Codes on it for me to decipher. I'd love to see something that simply said, "According to our agreement with your doctor, we have paid XXX."
Oh boy, someone else who knows what an EOB is! *grin* And the sekrit decoder rings are so hard to get!
And happily, my credit has landed at my bank. I'll have a bit more sympathy to some of those callers I get who are baying for their refunds. "Yes sir/ma'am, I can say from personal experience that it CAN take several days...."
