For a long time I had the larger version of the icon above. But for about the past year, it's been this photo of my son when he was two years old:

What a charming picture! It deserves a title, like "Innocense in Springtime" or "Discovering Nature"....

Wow! I didn't even recognize JDM there because the lighting in that shot made him look so....yellowish.

I'm fighting my aging process every step of the way, although I am trusting Sebastian to tell me when I can't pull the flaming tresses off anymore.

Something I heard once (and retained!) is that as one gets older, the most complimentary thing to do is to use a color that's the same tone or a little lighter than one was as a child. Since I was gilt-blonde until my late teens, I can tell myself I'm not getting older, I'm getting blonder!
