Kat and I ran an errand at her bank and got lunch at Steak'n'Shake, then made our way back to her place where I scratched the surface of cleaning out my car. It started raining fish, so I settled down on her porch swing and enjoyed the coolth. More Wednesday. It's a mess ( Read more... )

What and where are you doing to the mattress??? Let me know and I will see if I can wrangle the other half into helping. Between the 3 of us, we should be able to get it done.

First I need to drag the new queen-sized mattress and box spring over from Kat's (just west of 95). Then I need to remove the waterbed coils and remainder of the mattress and probably the box spring underneath---it can go down to the curb, it's not worth fooling with, IMO.

However, I've done something to my back/shoulders and there's no freaking way I'm going to try hauling huge heavy sacks of water---or huge heavy anything else, for that matter. That's why I'm hoping to borrow some UU muscle.
