I haven't posted in what seems like forever. Life has been crazy. Finally graduated from No Knowledge University (NKU) - now if I could find a job it would be great. So Counting today I have a total of eleven days left in good 'ol NKU. A week from Thursday at around 10:40-ish when I had in my lit final I will officially be done. Or at least done until I decide to go back to grad school. Jackson is helping me figure out what to do with my life, but I think sometimes I stress him out along with myself. In good news - mom had her last chemo treatment ever today!

Cancer has totally taken over all aspects of my life. All of a sudden I took over control of an entire family. I have to go to school 18 hours a week, work 40 hours a week, plus keep a house clean and make sure my mom does what she needs to do. It sucks ( Read more... )

So one chemo treatment down - 5 more to go. And wow it was nothing I could've prepared myself for. She was curled up in a ball on the bed crying and there was not a single thing I could do to make it even the tiniest bit better. They changed some of the medicines so hopefully it won't be as bad next time - but who knows. She hasn't lost her hair ( Read more... )

Tuesdays are so much better than Wednesdays. Its also amazing what a vacation does for a person's morale. School is just totally kicking my butt. One more semester to go and I will be done forever - or at least until I go back to grad school. Working late tonight since I got here late this afternoon. Only 19 more minutes until I can go home. Scooter is finally married. It was such an awesome ceremony - she even sang to him - how romantic is that! The bachelorette was pretty interesting.
