My Thoughts on Huge Crossover Events

I've pretty much been doing nothing but reading a bunch of comics for the past week. Because comics are that medium that will punch you in the gut and suck you in by virtual of their sheer insanity. Talking gorillas, evil space starfish, people in bright costumes, it's really all anyone needs in any genre ever. Anyone who objects to this is stupid

The only thing I've heard about Civil War is that it ends up being kind of gay between Tony and Steve.

idk, I have yet to get into any actual large story arcs when it comes to comics. Well, besides Buffy Season 8.

Civil War was the last comic I read before I didn't touch a comic book for over a year, because it actually killed my will to read them (IDK if you really kept up when it was coming out, but they kept playing up this BIG DEATH in the next issue for one of them and then it was this dude that had even my sequential friends all going "who?"). Also Identity Crisis is the only DC comic with the word "crisis" in the title that I've read that hasn't made me want to kill.

Civil War is just really not that good. I enjoyed bits of it but the overall total idiocy of the very concept dragged it down and beat any speck of quality to death.

Yeah, there are definitely parts I liked and parts that were awful. The whole X-Men Tie-in mini was just like LOL RANDOM FIGHTING for four issues.

I don't read as much Marvel as DC because I hate Spiderman, in fact the only one I really like is the incredible hulk. I used to like she-hulk but now she is way way to whiney.

I really only read X-men and Young Avengers. Does anyone care about Thor or Yellowjacket or any of those supposed Marvel A-listers? Seriously, no one does.
