You want to write children's books too? I have this book for my nephew in my head, but it's still taking shape, but I'm hoping to start writing it sometime soon. I'd love to write children's books about monsters :3
Also, I love your mother just for being so awesome. I didn't know you had ADD, though. I know someone else who's got that, but I'm not really sure how it affects a person. I'm sorry you have to work so much, but at least it's Thanksgiving soon and no classes :/
I'll have to look at it later when I'm so tired. Which will probably be never.
Yup! I have a couple different ideas for them, but I've never really worked with one extensively before. I did a little bit of plotting on an idea I've had for a while last night, though. :3
When I was younger it made it hard for me to concentrate of any one particular thing at a time, which reflected in my school work. I took medication so that I could stay more focused, but as I got older the need for it diminished and now I don't take the meds anymore. Yeah, true. I get to sleep in for three days in a row. :D
I'd love to hear some of your ideas. Ari and I had a discussion on children's books, and she said she'd never be able to write them, but I think it would be wonderful.
Ah, okay. And sleeping in is the best :3
You've only got a bit left then! And there are...eight days left of NaNo?
The meds hadn't entirely worn off so I wasn't really getting any sleep. :/
I feel like writing a children's book is actually a lot harder than it seems because in order to be a good children's book, it has to have that special something, and so many books don't and they just get lost in the masses.
Yeah, something like that. I don't really know. But yeah, I think I'll definitely be finishing this year. :3
I'll have to live vicariously through you on mothers, but oh. :( Now I want to call my grandmother and tell her I lover her but I can't until 7 pm because of cellphone plans. She is super aware of her prescriptions, so the two times I had panic attack moments in high school she was very careful about giving me anything and how much. They were relaxants though, so mind and body were in deep melt-into-my-chair relaxation mode half the day instead of turbo. XD There's nothing worse than when mind/body isn't on the same page energy-wise.
My mom is so scattered brained about everything it's kind of ridiculous. What's even worse is that 60 mg (I was wrong before because she misread the bottle) is her normal dosage, and it barely affects her at all, so I have to wonder just what kind of a jumbled mess her mind is all the time. D:
Aw, I'm glad your grandma was able to help you. ♥ Whenever my mom wants me to relax she tells me to drink a glass of wine. XD Or she'll make me popcorn, which is my happy place food.
I'm seeing my grandma on Thursday where I will tell her that I love her and that she is awesome. :D She's the kind of grandma that would vote for Jon Stewart if he ran for President, and we got her a t-shirt for Christmas one year to attest to that. Plus she's sweet as pie and an amazing cook. Almost everything I know about cooking was handed down from her to my mom to me. I plan on making her 1st Prize in the State Fair winning Angel Food cake recipe a family tradition. ♥
Ugh, I hate hate hate it when my body and my mind are out of whack, like those nights when
