There is a thread on SomethingAwful going on right now about having your save files on games getting fucked up by forces of nature/bratty kids/small children who don't know any better. So I was wondering if any of you guys had any stories about similar experiences. I have two majors ones

Sharing my videogames with 3 siblings led to a lot of erasing each others saves by accident so we made this system:

First person to play gets the first save slot.

Second person to play saves in a save slot as far away as possible from first person.

Worked pretty well.
