We'd love to have a Bonus Zeki Chapter!!

We are a group of Vampire Knight’s fans. We read it from the first volume.
We’ve followed the manga for eight years and many times the impatience of knowing the story has made us bought “LaLa” online, from Japan.
We bought the final chapter too, in May.
It was a good end, no doubt about it, well designed, but we can’t deny our disappointment

Personally, I would find it terribly rude to receive a letter like this if I were the mangaka. The main reason would be that I wouldn't like it if people didn't respect me enough to accept my plans for my story. You have to remember, we are just the fans. We are not the creator.

Think of it this way, how would you like it if you completed a story and you thought it was great, but you get an email/review from someone asking for an additional part just to suit their tastes?

Trust me, as a zeki-fan as well I was disappointed with the ending as well, but I respect the author enough not to contact her in regards to more material of her story.

Er.....I ship Kaname & Zero so I should be even more upset cos there isn't any hints of my OTP throughout 92 chapters. *sobs*

I had to agree with the posters here .

The way the request is written could be see by Hino and / or her editors as an insult . Not because of the desire to see additional Zeki material .That part is a normal request from fans disappointed by not getting what they want . But because the way the request is written is kind of rude .

We probably get some kind of extra material at the final volume .But I'm not sure if the last volume would had enough space for Hino to add a full bonus chapter . Because the last volume probably be a bit longer than 180 pages without any bonus material included . Usually when a manga volume is that long , there is no many pages given for bonus chapters . Is more reasonable to think Hino will include a few additional pics and / or one or two funny okames ( short bonus stories 1 - 2 pages long . ) Specially if she wanted to lower the depressing last chapter feelings most readers will get after finish the end .
