what is the noise levels like on the 1ds? the noise leves on the nikon d3 are downright insane. the shots taken at 6400 iso look almost like current 400 or 800 iso.

The maximum I shot was at 1600 and it was really beautiful! I think it's cleaner than my 5D's 800.

It's amazing what a drop of water can do to a picture. I've used it creatively before, but that shot at the eatery looks really good with the head of the diner "warped". Grin!

Hey, I'm not quite sure I understand what you are talking about. Which picture are you referring to?

The left hand picture under Point 2. Lower right quadrant, the "bubble". Perhaps it was just meant to be there? Hmmm....

I love eating in KL. We like hitting up the restaurants, since it's possible to eat an awesome meal for the price of, say, a crappy Swensens' main course back home...

And the sales at the international brands are lots better than back here. I once got a Mango dress at RM 55 on sale! Tangs has been there for a decade or more now if I'm not wrong.

Ooh, I have no idea about Tangs! :P I really like eating there too. I do want to go back there again.

Oh I miss KL! We used to drive up twice a year for food and shopping. I love the chicken wings at Wong Ah Wah, the ampang yong tau fu (also great roti canai around the corner, near the hospital), and excellent claypot bak kut teh, which you must try the next time you're there. It's next to the Hotel Dynasty in Chow Kit, and really excellent - nothing in Singapore comes close to the way they do it.

Am drooling now thinking about all the yumminess...

Is the claypot bak kut teh the peppery kind or the herbal kind? I must prefer the former.

It's the more herbaly-kind, sorry. But it's SO GOOOOD.

I realised I typed 'must' instead of 'much'. Oops.
