For some reason it seems just like Chris to jump on bad facial hair as an excuse to call up someone he missed. :) Not that I really know anything about Chris, but it seems very male, which he seems to be. Definitely. *nods*

I liked all the parts about JC hearing what Chris was doing in the background without actually seeing it. Very cool. :)
