Livingston Legacy 3.6
Welcome back again! Last update Lynley became a teen and started romancing her childhood friend Wally, Lachlan practiced violin a lot, and the family went camping. They're still camping for a little while this chapter.
A peaceful morning at the campgrounds. This is the family's second and last day of vacation.
Leyla grills up some fruit for breakfast. Also, that yellow fruit looks an awful lot like banana, which I don't think would taste all that great grilled. Just sayin'.
Lynley: FIIIRRREEEE!!!!! *cackles*
Ummm....
Awww...aren't Leyla and Lysander cute?
Lynley & Lachlan: Just look straight ahead, pretend it's not happening, and maybe it will go away.
Since Lynley got to go adventuring on the first day, I figured it was Lachlan's turn to do a bit of exploring.
Lachlan: Where should I go?
Lachlan went to the National Park area and decided to hang out in this neat little cabin.
Then he sat down with this guy named Octavio to tell him an adventure story.
Leaving the cabin, Lachlan meets Katya Thibodeaux here. She's adorable, but I think she has the insane trait if I recall xD
Lachlan: My sister said there's an old hermit that lives deep in the woods, it's really hard to find him but she did!
Lachlan: I have a friend! I'm never going to stop hugging her.
That might not be such a good idea bud.
Of course they need to take a picture to remember meeting each other.
And finally a little cloudgazing together.
I sent Lachlan to catch a bug that's bigger than his head and could probably eat him.
Lachlan: Nasty bugs alwaysw buzzing around...*grumble grumble*
There's a play with fire interaction that Lachlan wanted to do, it mostly entails throwing random rocks and sticks at the fire.
Leyla: Hey there sexy. ;)
And of course Leyla and Ly are still the same as always.
At this point I realized the kids had school when they got back home and Lynley hadn't finished her homework.
Lynley: I'm soooo happy to be doing my homework instead of enjoying my vacation *sarcasm*
Well, maybe you should have finished it before we left like your brother.
A littlw hot dog roasting for lunch.
Lysander: Ah, this is the life.
Camping trip over! Lysander put out the fire before they left.
Lysander: I can breathe FIIIRREEE!!!!
I guess Ly learned a new bar trick.
Ly: Thank you, thank you very much.
There's not even anyone watching hon, you're home alone.
Wally: Hey there pretty lady.
Waldemar came over for a visit.
Lysander is still a closet geek who plays video games all the time.
While Ly is gaming to his heart's content, I sent these two back behind the house to a nice scenic little place for their first kiss.
And then some more kissing after that initiated by Wally, which is adorable.
Wally: So...I...ummm...was wondering if you maybe wantedtobemygirlfriend.
Lynley: YES! YES! YES!
So there you have it folks, Lynley's got a boyfriend!
Lachlan's enjoying himself on the jungle gym.
Lachlan: I am the all powerful captain of this ship!
Oh goodness, that's NOT what you do with a trash pile.

Lysander gets delegated to cleaning duty.
Sibling chess time!
I like having that big window right behind the chess table, it gives you a nice view.
Wally comes over to visit most afternoons now, and then there's a lot of this.
Katya came for a visit too, and promptly started doing her homework in Lynley's room.
Speaking of, Lynley got a new room. I added an addition to the house and made her a new room, I also put in a room to store collectibles and such.
Lachlan finds Katya and they chat for a little while before she decided to leave.
I've pretty much given up on Lachlan ever completing his aspiration. He's more interested in playing outside so it hasn't gone well so far. He's gonna age up soon and I'm not even close so I figured he might as well do what he wants for the last bit of his childhood.
It makes me so happy inside when my sims actually use the desks I give them to do their homework instead of the kitchen table or bar or basically anywhere else xD
Here's the new collection room that I made, Leyla and Lysander really like to wander in an view the items in it when they have free time.
Lynley: Maybe if I just scribble on the chunk of wood with this pen it will look like I know what I'm doing...
Since the Livingstons now reside in Willow Creek, I figured it was about time that someone took a trip to Sylvan Glade. Lynley seemed the best option since I hoped she could get some collecting done there.
Lynley: Don't mind me just watering this giant, magical looking tree.
Lachlan went along too so he could meet some new people. His outgoing trait means he has a lot of whims that involve socializing.
He also did a little frog hunting to help Lynley out with her aspiration. Aren't you a great little brother!
Success! After much talking and watering the tree has opened up for us!
Lynley: That did not go well.
Whelp, that didn't go quite as planned. Guess we've got to try again.
After a few unsuccessful attempts we finally made it to Sylvan Glade!
It's a pretty little place, though pretty much the only thing to do is fish and catch frogs.
So Lynley did some frog hunting to help with her collection.
Upon returning home I realized it was time for Lachlan's birthday.
Leyla: My baby's becoming a teen. I feel so old.
Leyla's evidently trying to drown her sorrows in a cocktail.
Lynley: Woo! I'm pretending to care that my brothers growing up but I'm really more interested in this lousy tv show.
Don't you feel so loved by your family Lachlan?
Leyla: I think I'm gonna cry.
Lachlan: *sparkles*
Lachlan rolled the insane trait and the jokestar aspiration, hence the...interesting clothing choices xD
His child trait was outgoing in case anyone forgot. So, this should be fun!
Lynley: Do I know you? Why are you talking to me?
This is Reuben's son, Colten, all grown up.
Guess who got a pool! I got sick and tired of everyone in the house rolling whims for a pool.
Lynley's obviously super happy about the pool.
Lachlan: The fairies are attacking! Everyone hide! Save yourself!
Lachlan was quick to show his insane trait.
Lachlan: Are they gone yet?
Lynley: Maybe if I stand really still he'll forget I'm here and leave me alone...
The family decides to have a little miniature pool party.
I find the way sims swim both hilarious and adorable, and look how happy it makes Leyla!
Lysander grilled up some kebabs so the family would have a nice meal.
Lysander's becoming an elder while simultaneously being scarred by his son doing homework in his bathing suit.
Lachlan: Oh, Marie Antoinette, you're so funny.
Lysander: Why does my back hurt so much?!
Lysander is a pretty fantastic looking elder if you ask me, and of course he still loves mixing drinks.
He's also the night owl of the family. He's the only one that stayed up to enjoy the party.
That's all folks! Next chapter will be the last one for this generation and then we'll have an heir poll, yay!
I'm hoping to get the next update out soon, and have the heir poll done by the beginning of april. If all goes as planned I'll have Get To Work by then and generation 4 will get to enjoy it!
