I can't believe generation 3 is basically over! After this update there's an heir poll.
So lets get on with it already!
Like mother like daughter - they both love Lysander's cooking.
Lachlan: Okay, who got water all over the bathroom floor!?
Lachlan: Oh no, we must have a mermaid infestation!
Lachlan: We must rid ourselves of the watery fiends!
Lachlan: Shhhh!!! I think I hear one!
Lachlan: Don't panic Lachlan! Just back out of the bathroom slowly to avoid detection!
I think you guys might be taking this whole marriage partnership thing to a bit of an extreme.
Lysander being an elder hasn't slowed these two down at all.
Lysander was practicing pick up lines to gain charisma for his job. Not that he really needs any pick up lines, being as he's been married most of his life and has two kids xD
Lynley is so done with Lachlan's shenanigans.
Lynley went over to visit the neighbours.
And brought a reluctant Lachlan with with her.
Lachlan: We can't go in there, what if they're secretly trolls!
I'm pretty sure they're not trolls. It's just good old Wally and his family.
While Lynley spent some time alone with Wally, Lachlan tried out some of his jokes on the rest of the Butterfields.
Lynley was enjoying her time with Wally, until his mother decided to join them.
Lynley: Well this sucks.
For some reason the guys seem to always get stuck doing all the cleaning in this family.
Ly cooked some lamb chops and decided to hide them in the corner.
Lachlan's getting a jump start on his future career as a comedian by writing jokes.
Leyla's at level 9 painting skill now and just has to paint a few more masterpieces and she'll have completed her aspiration. Now, maxing her career is another matter.
Ly is pretty much glued to the mirror working on his charisma. I'm really hoping I can max bos his and Leyla's careers, as well as completing their aspirations. That would be a first for me and it would be awesome!
Lysander's smiling like a crazy person because he maxed the mixology skill and in doing so completed his aspiration! First aspiration I've actually been able to complete xD I didn't pick a new one because I figure I won't have enough time to complete any others.
Leyla constantly has a drink in her hand. I think she's developing a bit of a problem like Keziah.
This is about as close as this family gets to family time xD
Katya and Cecily both showed up for a visit and things got interesting.
Katya's adorable, and her insane trait is a perfect match for Lachlan, they can lead the whole family into insanity together, lol.

Leyla of course wanted to get to know Katya a bit better since she's so close with her son.
Lynley's still working away at her handiness.
She needs to find some more crystals for her aspiration, but for the life of me I can't find any! It's so frustrating. Lynley just keeps digging up fossils and MySims statues.
Lachlan spends most of his time ranting and raving about crazy things to himself. Typical insane sim xD
Lynley celebrates her entrance into young adulthood with Abeline and Colten cheering her on.

It's also time for Leyla to transistion into elderhood.
Since we were already having a party, I aged Wally up as well so Lynley wouldn't have to wait around for their love to become legal again.
Lachlan and Katya were...goofing around I guess? I dunno. Katya thought it was pretty funny to get slapped in the face, so I guess they were having fun? Play fighting? idk.
Lynley can build furniture now, so I set her to work on a barstool.
And she hit herself in the head with a hammer. Ouch. I thought Lysander was supposed to be the clumsy one xD
Lachlan got a mic in his room so he could get to work on practicing his jokes.
Lachlan went out to do a bit of visiting, and got to meet the lovely Veronica Solomon. I want to keep his potential spouse options open ;)
They got along super well and she even finds his jokes funny! Which is awesome because pretty much no one else does xD
Lysander and Leyla are such a sweet couple <3
Wally and Lynley finally get to go on a real date.
Because it's a very special occasion ;)
Lynley: Will you marry me Waldemar Butterfield?
Wally: Yes! Of course!
Not right at this moment though, they're going to get to have a nice proper wedding.
First I had Wally move in.
Lynley: Hey, wanna move in?
Wally: Sure, why not?
That's it for the update. I know it's pretty short and sparse on captions, but I really wanted to get the heir poll out and done by the beginning of April so generation four can have fun with the Get To Work expansion pack, and I don't have to wait too long.
