So I wrote Charlotte/Jacob.

I don't even know. Seriously.

But the point of this post is actually to sing the praises of the ongoing Crack!/Rare!Ship fic meme that ineffort is currently hosting. There are some foolishly awesome fics happening there; everyone from Juliet to Claire to Mr. Eko have made an appearance so far.

(Oh, and here's a link -- Charlotte/Read more... )

character: jacob, writing, pairing: charlotte/jacob, story: fic, pairing: daniel/charlotte, character: charlotte

I've been too busy participate in that meme, but I will stop by at some point. Charlotte/Jacob actually sounds pretty cool.

To make a link, the formating is this: <*a href="link to webpage">Name of Fic* (Now for the code to show up in this LJ post and not automatically code, I added * just so you could not see the behind the scenes part. Those two * should not be there. If you remove the *, that is the code. If that doesn't make sense, I can send you the proper code via e-mail.

So for your recent story it would be <*a href="http://ineffort.livejournal.com/131462.html">Charlotte/Jacob ficlet* and without the *, it would appear properly in a LJ post as Charlotte/Jacob ficlet

Also, if you wanted to link to your specific thread in that post, click on the 'link' option in your comment and it will give you the specific http address just for your comment and all the responses to it.

Okay, I'm apparently technology-impaired, because I just tried that (and I got the whole thing about the asterisks) and I STILL couldn't make a proper cut. I seriously don't know why I'm so incapable of figuring this out ... blergh. (The worst part is I used some code for the website of a non-profit I worked with -- I mean, it was a couple years ago, but apparently the computer-literate side of my brain has atrophied.)

Could you maybe try PM-ing me the code and see if I can figure it out from there? Thanks for all this help, by the way!

Oh no! I don't think I explained it very well. Unfortunately, it won't worked explaining it in a PM because since it is within LJ, it will use the same code. If you send me something via e-mail to elliotsmelliot@gmail.com, I'll try explaining it again, and use more examples.

No, no -- it's all me. Seriously. Anything tech-related seems to go all screwy as soon as I touch it, haha.

I'll send you an e-mail later today; thanks again!
