I just realized I love, love, love Jack and Claire sibling!fic. So thank you so much for that in particular; wasn't sure if their dynamic worked, so glad to hear you thought it did!

So. Obviously the first part is my favorite, not because the rest isn't wonderful but because it's Jack/Juliet. (Why yes, I'm predictable.) It's just. God. I want to marry that first part. Your Jack! Your Jack is so perfect - as is your Juliet (how much do I love your description of her? That's right, a lot. GUH!) and their interaction.

And wow, holy hell, am I relieved! I covet your Jack/Juliet -- both separately and together -- and I always feel like I'm fumbling around in the dark when I write them, and with this fic especially. So yay! Thank you again! *huuugs ( ... )

And thank you so much! It's such fluff, but I want everyone to have a happy ending. :)

!!!!!! Okay, so, I'm going to try really, really hard to be coherent about this, but I can't promise that I'll succeed. ;) This is effing BRILLIANT, so perfectly realized and so ingenious--all of the character connections are so fantastic, and then the Dan/Charlotte and Jack/Juliet (OMGSQUEEEEEEEE!) are both wonderfully written, all of the hope and peace in your D/C so perfectly contrasted with J/J's more estranged relationship. Is it all right if I adopt this as my own personal wishlist, too? ;) CLAIRE! So perfect! And then Kate at the end!!! The handshake and Christian in his head and the handshake and YES! :D :D :D I just about died of squee, lol. And, of course, your writing is incredibly beautiful throughout, and the division of the piece into musical directions works incredibly well. This is really an extraordinary piece of writing--I know I'll definitely be re-reading. This fic is amazing, and so are you. ♥

I'm also, in particular, so pleased you picked up on that contrast; I think we've talked about it before, maybe, but I LOVE the idea of Jack and Juliet as divorced -- had their time, didn't quite work out, but still maintaining this poweful connection between them -- and I was hoping to show how both him and Dan could be at peace with these important relationships in very different ways. So yay!
And hee, yes, go right ahead! I'm still pulling for happy endings across the board, even if that's naive. ;P I totally thought of writing the Kate/Jack section, and again, SO relieved you liked it, since the coincidence of Kate being around is silly beyond belief, but I didn't want to not have her there, you know?
So thanks again for all the FANTASTIC feedback; so incredibly appreciated! :D

(Lol, capslock off, I swear!)
"a place for everything and everything in its place."
That's actually completely perfect because it's sort of where I was going with this; trying to bring some closure with these connections and what the alt world could mean to all of them. I feel like it's a little too tidy, but I couldn't handle any more angst, since canon has given us enough, I think. Oh yeah, Charlie! I like the thought that him and Claire find their way back to each other, and that Liam's still kicking around helping out too. ;P ( ... )
