Certainly an original idea, i enjoyed the getting to know each other up on the roof with the constellations bit alot!!!!
LOL, I remember when I was playing the Sims 2 my Faraday sim got abducted by aliens and came back pregnant and Charlotte happily accepted the kid, was weird but it made me think that poor old Dan would so be the type to get abducted by aliens, lol.
Just something about him gives me that impression.

Fabulous job - this is fabulous for a prompt I shied away from ;)

But I'm so glad you read it, and thanks so much for leaving such an amazing comment! I just kind of banged it out right before the Fic Battle deadline, so I wasn't exactly sure how it turned out, so your lovely feedback is much appreciated. And yeah, in the end the abductions weren't even the point, per se, more than its implications.

This is so wonderfully creepy. And Dan! Watching Charlotte watch him falling apart and being ripped away from her was so hard. And that ending with her curled next to him on the bed and shivering was such an unsettling scene to end on. (And a perfect one considering the holiday.)
I'm using my Mulder/Scully icon on principle...;)

And thank you so, so much! This was another fic I just kind of conceived of and posted on a whim, so I'm really pleased to hear you liked it! Unsettling was kind of what I was going for, so that makes me even happier. ;D

I think haunting is the right word to describe this fic. Chilling and so very beautiful.
