I had sooooo much fun writing this -- not often I get the chance (or the inclination) to do dorky, silly fluff.

This is bloody adorable, brilliant interactions and it makes my poor charladay heart ache, Cos goddammit! They deserved to have halloweens and christmas's and all that seasonal frivolity together.

Charlotte/Daniel FLUFF!? I think this must be a first - their storyline is simply too depressing for people to write a lot of fluff. After reading this, they should start! They are positively adorable - I love both of there costumes and the fact that Daniel mumbles that he is fun to himself *squishes*. Hee, this is awesome! I'm really getting into the Halloween spirit with everyone's fic!

I know! Fluff, eh? I think I've written Dan/Charlotte fluffiness ... once before? (Of course it was completely AU as well, with them as students at Oxford.) I've said it to a lot of people before, I find it really, really hard to write them as anything but -- at minimum -- bittersweet, knowing what's in store. But the fluff is fun (though admittedly a bit unnerving to write).
Hahaha, I bet Dan would totally think he's super-fun -- if listening to physics jokes is your idea of a good time. ;P

I like them happy, too -- there were too few moments of that in canon, where they were chatting or together without death looming over their heads (though I suppose the same could be said for a lot of the characters).

And thank you so much for all the lovely comments! One of the things that attracted me to both characters was their rapport when they didn't have death or terrible things hanging over them -- like when they were on their way to the Tempest, or the Staff -- and the easy banter they seemed to share. I realize after doing this ficlet that I miss writing that -- their dynamic that they just really seem to enjoy each other's company. I think I'm going to have to do this more often, so thanks again for the push! ;D
