Maybe sometime later I will find the words to describe how beautiful, how RIGHT this fic is.
Loved it!

"Fortune" is one of my favourites, so thanks again so much for that in particular!

I started making note of all of the sentences I loved the best at the beginning, but I wrote down so many it would be silly to quote them all back to you.
Instead, I'll just say amazing job!

There were a thousand and one things I thought go could wrong with this -- and though I've seen the format used really effectively, sometimes I'm not totally sold on "numbered" fics -- so I really, truly appreciate your lovely comments. And saying it all seemed "real" is seriously one of the best compliments you could have given, so thanks again for that. :D

You have made me love this pairing in ways that the show never did. Awwww, thank you for THAT, too -- the beauty of fic, I think, is discovering those new perspectives, because I think it helps us to re-discover the characters, too; it's the same way I feel about your Jack/Kate.
Whatev, you don't give yourself enough credit. ;P There were a couple moments (though I talk about it like it was some epic, months-long thing, when really it was what -- a week or so? LOL) where I totally wanted to abandon it -- or not even start in the first place -- so your encouragement honestly did make a difference. :D

Number 28, 24, 40, 47 and 35 are my top favourites,
Love this line,
"and why he first gripped Charlotte's hand on the Kahana with a sense of finally, you're here -- but he still trips over the knowledge, suddenly, admits it to himself as he strides up the beach with salt clinging to his skin and sees her smile, a beacon of relief guiding him back."
A lot of work must have gone into this, you got it so in character and so realistic, each and everyone read like it should have been in the show!
just excellent
