So I went in for another afternoon Jeet Kune Do class today and much to my surprise I was the only student present. Good: Fido is sending me a new phone.

Bad: It may take until the 17th to get here.

Not so bad: I can use the SIM from my iPhone in my old Razr.

So yeah, my iPhone is out of commission. From my research into the error message and the subsequent steps taken to restore it, it looks like a hardware issue. So I'm off to the Apple Store tomorrow to get a new one but until all is well, e-mail, FaceBook or here are going to be the only ways to get in touch with me.

So today's class was a very different vibe than last night's was. The folks that make it out to the afternoons tend, in my experience, to be more advanced students. This was certainly the case today. It was a real pleasure to work with these gentlemen, too. They were to a man, patient, generous and helpful.

Apparently Nicole was contagious as I am now sick. While gross and hateful, it does support our decision to cancel my party, since if we hadn't many of you would now be sick too. SO glad I have a couple more days off of before I work this week.
