Seventh and Eighth day
7th: It was an interesting day...first we went to the baby store and bought baby gear. then we put together the stroller and pack-n-play. I installed a car seat for the first time and did it correctly.
8th: Went to Fogo.
so July and August will apparently be expensive. -
Sixth Day
My June will have lots of interesting things. I got a lot of truly groovy stuff for xmas and got to putter in the kitchen all day. Lots of good food, and pie. mmm, pie.
very tired. will definitely sleep in tomorrow.

Fifth day of Yule
I have had a headache all day. It does not bode well for my level of health in May. I might have a cold in the middle.
damn.
Otherwise, much good food and too many dogs. Kinda chaotic, but May will be full of tests in school so I'm not surprised. -
On the fourth day of Yule...
My April will be filled with making new friends and lots of legos.

Mother's Night last night was wonderful. I found an excellent recipe for traditional swedish meatballs and they turned out fabulously delicious. Had my darling parents and our dear Kommie over for feasting and merriment. All in all a marvalous day ( Read more... ) -
Winter break so far...
So I have been out of school for two days. Yesterday I went shopping with my mom. It was most fun. We had the world's biggest margarita, took both of us to finish it. Best way to go shopping on a cold day ( Read more... ) -

I have completed my first semester of nursing school and maintain my 4.0.
not too shabby. -
the HESI
The college has us take an exam at the end of the semester called the HESI. It is given each semester by the state exam board. The purpose of the test is to allow the state a chance to evaluate the schools program and see if they are teaching us what they ought to be teaching us.
