The college has us take an exam at the end of the semester called the HESI.  It is given each semester by the state exam board.  The purpose of the test is to allow the state a chance to evaluate the schools program and see if they are teaching us what they ought to be teaching us.  It does not directly affect our grade if we fail it...however if

That's awesome! Do you get a certificate with your name on it now since they said no one would pass?

no...but I do get my 15 points. I'll take it. It gives me wiggle room on the final, which is comprehesive and very long.
