[video] And I will write her name and cast it to the sky

[He's still adjusting to this place, waking up soaking wet, ship-less and friendless it would seem had been a bit unnerving to say the least. Then as if to top it off and keep him guessing, he found himself dressed in dry clothes that weren't his shortly after his arrival. At least they were decently tasteful, but still they weren't his and there ( Read more... )

!curse: seventeen, daryl/darill why are you here?

Does this place ever need a real explanation for anything?

They would be greatly appreciated, but I don't really expect to receive any currently.

Might I inquire as to whom I speak with? You may call me Setzer Gabbiani.

What do you know of this place?

Just call me Xigbar, Tophat.

Little things, bits and pieces. Hardly nothing interesting.

Ah, but those little bits and pieces might be of interest to me.

Any way I might persuade you to share them with me?

[And he'll have what appears to be a masked Maria looking at him.]
...
[His hair, voice and the scars the mask didn't cover gave away his identity to the previous General.]
This place likes giving surprises every other week.

[He's wordless for a moment, one might say he's trying to decide if this might be another figment of his tired mind, much like the other lady currently following him which looks too similar to the masked jewel he beholds now. It is the clothes and mask which help him decide it isn't, for Darill isn't wearing anything different than she had the last he saw her alive, nor is there a mask covering her face.

It makes him silently grateful he's not as alone here as he previously thought.]

...Celes? [Have a valiant attempt at a smile but really, he's too tired to keep up the facade for long]

You're a sight for sore eyes, my dear General. [a small pause and then he gestures at the ensemble he's currently in as he speaks once more, trying his best really to not look back again at the other blonde who is currently watching him.] This is part of those surprises that are given I presume?

[It was funny in a cruel sense that she gained a couple of her friends just after she mentioned being happy they didn’t share this fate. A nod was given in response to her name.]
Locke is here as well. [She’ll leave out Kefka since he's likely to reveal himself in his own way.] I’m afraid so. This place enjoys surprising us with something every other week.

Tick, tock, tick, tock...

[Hear that low whisper? Isn't it a tad odd? It's almost as if someone is counting down to the moments of your unfortunate demise.]

Tick, tock, tick...

[If you listen carefully, Setzer, you hear the speaker chuckling now.]

[Well now this was different, but really that sound of amusement gave him actual pause. What the hell was it with this place reviving the dead?

He was dealing better with Darill's presence now that he realized that it was merely a memory of her he was seeing and that it wasn't actually her ghost with him.

But really, Vatheon, did you have to haunt him with that bastard? Best not provoke it really and so he's going to pretend he hadn't heard the whispers or the chuckle.]

[Going to play pretend, huh? Well, get a load of this evil laugh!]

UWE-HE-HEHE~!

[Take that, Blackjack! GUESS WHO'S BACK, MOTHER*****!]

Look what the fishies dragged in this time~! It's the Opera Crasher! Fancy seeing you here, ol' pal!

[Bloody hell, that came from the device he was holding. What the hell, Vatheon, why you do this to people? He's currently staring at the device like he almost expects it to sprout fangs now and bite him and is trying to decide if he should really respond to the madman on the other side of it. He would like answers but getting them from Kefka of all people just doesn't sit well with him.]

Kefka.

What idiot brought you back from hell?

[And while you answer that question, if you could explain just where this is and how he and Celes are here now that would be appreciated, though he likely will take your answers with a grain of salt until he speaks further with Celes on the matter.]
