I love how it was Neal's own viciousness that did him in, in the end. <3

You did a better job than the show at presenting him as an intelligent criminal capable of tricking the FBI.

OMG, that fucking hurt to read! And my husband just asked if I'm okay, so evidently the ouchiness is visible. (or audible. I may have squeaked.)

I love how evil!Neal is still just as clever and manipulative, and just as cocky -- and that's what does him in. I love that El is a badass uncooperative hostage who solves her own kidnapping. And because I am a massive fan of Mozzie, I love that your version is deeply compromised but still playing the role of Neal's conscience.

I have a running list of Mirror Universe (aka evil!au) White Collar fics on my journal -- mind if I add this one to the list?

OUCH. In total tears here. Painful. I know I thought I wanted Evil Neal but this really went beyond what I thought. I like Neal and I'm in complete tears and mourning here.
