A lot of stuff happened in the next few days.

Ronon got a lot better. They moved him from Isolation to the main infirmary, behind one of those gauzy curtain things that regulated airflow or something. He was awake more, now, and totally lucid. He would answer questions the medical staff asked him about his health.

I think the most emotional stuff comes out stuff that makes the writer emotional, too.

Oh yes indeed. I wanted to read it all the way through yesterday, but I just ran out of time.

I agree: I know that the places in a story where I'm crying as I type, are usually the same places that other people remark upon.
