The month after was hard in a new way. A real, practical, every day way. In as much as the memorial service and the funeral had marked the end of Teyla and Rodney’s lives on Atlantis, living without them was something wholly different. A lot of stuff happened in the next few days.

Ronon got a lot better. They moved him from Isolation to the main infirmary, behind one of those gauzy curtain things that regulated airflow or something. He was awake more, now, and totally lucid. He would answer questions the medical staff asked him about his health.

In the end, six people crowded into Sheppard’s Isolation room to have a meeting about the M3X-371 anthropology report. McKay, Teyla, and Ronon, of course, along with Carter, Keller, and the head anthropologist who written the thing. Her name was Lola Ferri and she totally flipped out when she saw Sheppard.
