( The Master would have mercilessly tied him to the bed, which was why the Doctor cunningly didn’t warn him before he blindly wandered into the console room and made the TARDIS land wherever she felt was a good place to be at the moment. )

Oh, oh, oh - this is so beautiful and so sad it makes me want to cry.. well done, you, for making the Doctor's death feel so real and so awful and so Final... I get the sense that the Master flew his stolen ship into the sun to be with the Doctor, which is fitting and so very very sad. 'Cos one is nothing without the other. Brilliant writing! Now I need to find a cheer-me-up fic, lol!
