I got my Kindle Fire HD today, and the first thing I did was buy and app that lets me create and edit word documents on it. So now I can write on the train, and for the first time in weeks I actually wrote fic. Oh, that feels good! :D

Still limited on time, and currently only working with the virtual keyboard, which isn't meant for quick and massive ( Read more... )

Congrats on the purchase! And shameless *squee* over the fact that this means you have more opportunities to write awesome fic, because I look forward to all your fic always! ))) *pauses for moment of unadulterated fangirl joy*

...and now that I've finally seen the Avengers, I'm gonna be stalking that fic of yours too, and pounce and flail over it, just you wait)))))))))))))

Heh. Thanks a lot! My new purchase if giving me much joy. I also found that it is awesome for reading comics.

Speaking of comics, that fic for the holliday exchange is based on the comic universe, not the movies. I do, however, have a movie based fic in the works that I started in summer and put on ice after around 30,000 words in order to finish stuff with deadlines. I actually like that one so far, though, so I'm sure I'm gonna finish it one day.

Not sure the SPN fic I'm working on is awesome, though. I'm trying to keep it to the point, but it starts with Dean having issues and Dean's issues are never straight to the point. (It will soon progress to Dean being pissed at Sam, though, and that always comes easy for all involved. ;P)

Oooh! That's really good news, being unable to write at all must have been hell on you.

Virtual keyboards are a pain in the ass, I can never get used to them, but I guess it's better than nothing too.

And I'll be looking forward to both projects. Even if I'll probably need some background in the Avengers one, as my only knowledge of the characters comes from the movies!

By the way, I hope both studies and work are going well and that you are not having migraines anymore. I kind of feel guilty for mentioning it and that just then started happening.

(Sorry for the terribly late comment, but my job is eating my life more than ever lately)

Heh. Let's just agree that jobs are a pain the the ass and get in the way of fandom all too often.

No, I'm over the migraines, thanks for asking! Currently my enemy is a chest cold that doesn't have me feel too bad, but I'm coughing all the time and that's annoying when your job consists of 97,5% talking. I don't want to call in sick before Wedneday, though, because then I can't go the gym and that would suck.
Yeah. Priorities, I have them.

The Avengers-story is coming along nicely, even though words keep getting in the way of preogress. I actually sat my ass down and read at least some of the Civil War issues for this, since I was asked to write somthing based on that. Before, I knew what happened, even in detail, but I never read it. Now I did, and I want to punch Captain America in the face. Not the usual reaction I gather, but then, as with everything else, I'm biased.

The studies are progressign as well. How are things with you? Apart from the job being stressful and underpaid, is everything alright?

LOL! You described accurately, but apart from the job being stressful and underpaid everything is okay. At least I feel valued? And half my office has the flu too, so I'll get it sooner or later, heh. And I'm really glad the migraines are over, I've had a couple in my life and it's truly terrible ( ... )

Still not watching Merlin. I'm going to once November's over. November is NaNo month, so I'm too busy writing if I'm not studying or at work ( ... )
