I was so incredibly disappointed with this finale.
They build up all the Clark/Doomsday, Chloe/Davis and then what, give them all five minutes screentime? Ridiculous.
I was expecting epicness, not epic failure.

Bones was definitely bad as well - I just updated about both.
Overall, what an awful night of finales - I expected so much better. God, they would have been better of leaving "Beast" as the season finale of Smallville.

Yes, Beast would have made a Better season finale(tho I had issues with it, it was still watchable).

writer fail. its ridiculous how their inner kins screw with storylines I've loved. Hart with his oohh! bring the funny/clowning antics, SV with their Clana prototype and sheer stupidity. I don't think I'll ever watch season finales again. except Dexter, that show is actually *good*.

God, I've read badfic on ff.net that was better than this shit. Any bit of logic that this show might have once held onto is gone. I'm just gonna pretend that the series ends with Chloe and Davis on the run and be done with it.

I haven't seen anything that awful since the BSG series finale. Which wasn't all that long ago, actually. But BSG used to be a very good show, which SV never was, so I guess BSG still wins? LOSES. Why choose? There's more than enough epic fail to go around!

Anyway I went on and on about the many layers of fail in "Doomsday" in my own journal, but I just wanted to add my shrieks of outrage to everyone else's.

I'm watching Bones now, and it's just boring and stupid. I would have been happy for SV to merely be boring and stupid!

I have read in detail about the BSG finale, and it was awful. Maybe because I'm more invested in this, this is heinous. fail always goes around with the finales, you notice?

i can't tell you how much i actually hated this episode! i mean this was supposed to be the freaking finalle!!! and what do tehy give us? DOG SHIT!!!

sorey... and yes, me too! i was sitting there and thinking... even i could write a better episdoe than that! i mean seriously! davis was gonna kill chloe? and chloe still loved jimmy? even after all the hate emails he send her? and he actually had an appartment that overlooked all of metropolis? where'd he get the money for that?

and... well, i am very superficial... i actually did think oliver looked fancy in black suit and black sun glasses... my god, he had a great face...

ohhhh... and did you notice that in the sleeping/talking scene between chloe and davis she had blue lips, while he had pink... i mean she looked like she was gonna freeze to death, and he looked very healthy warm... I was thinking then, 'yummy! a davis blanket!'... lol

Maybe not so Ironic. You can count on me to vent when there is crap of this magnitude.
This episode was crap. Complete, utter, total crap. Everything was out of character, rushed, fucking stupid plot line that one would expect from preteen girl writing fanfiction. I've been a loyal Smallville fan for years, I have every season on DVD, and I'm done, I'm just done. I don't care what happens anymore. I've watched through the failed Chlark, the failed Clana, the failed EVERYTHING, all the twists and turns and half assed twists that up until now, I could deal with.
I thought i could deal with SV with SW as Zod even if I was saddened by the tragic ending to Davis. boy was I wrong. This episode was worse than bad fanfic in that ps3, with their clana 2.0 single handedly pissed on Chloe, Davis and any reason I could ever, ever have for watching.
And yep, everything of this has become utter fail.
