The second step

I've toyed with the idea of having laser eye surgery for some time now.  I know that it can't do anything galsses can't, but the convenince factor looms large given I rarely can be bothered using my glasses.

I saw my specialist a little while back, and we etermined the reason I don't use my glasses is that my acuity is the same with or without them

I wish I could have it done. But my eyes are in no way able to be saved by it :(

One reason I'm so hesitant is that, becuase the vast majority of my optical issues are optic-nerve related, I know that the surgery, at best, will imporve my sight by perhaps 5%. Maybe.

But I think I've got to make up my mind after hearing from the experts, rather than by listening to the endless voice inside my head.
