another solution could be leaving a box/bag beside the garbage with any pop cans, etc. in it. I lived in a couple of neighbourhood with 'urban recycling' and as long as you separated the bottles out, the recycling bags were left untouched.
Yeah. I was gonna say the same thing. I think it depends how consistent your vagrants are. In my hood they are very consistent. I don't return empty beer bottles at all - I just put them on the fron sidewalk - by morning they are gone. But that approach only makes sense if pick-up is as consistent as the recycling truck.
So - is this how things are at the Elizabeth/Paul household. You're cleaning up after vagrants while the hubby is playing I Spy with the kids? :)
I like the approach of venting your frustrations on your blog for the vagrants to read, however I think the attempt may be ill-fated. You might want to go with the other suggestion. (teehee);)
