Frankly what's more stupid is that all these people who want to obliterate the word Christmas still want the HOLIDAY... God ( Oh sorry, wouldn't want to offend them ) forbid they'd have to work on ... umm... "Holiday" ...

I agree with all you say, but two months a year of not being able to go into town without being bombarded with Christmas crap is a bit much. Every year I get closer to saying "look, just fuck all this" and spending the last two weeks of December somewhere where they either don't have Christmas (Turkey, Morocco) or won't have it until safely after I've got back (Russia). One day, one day...

I hate people who don't want anyone else to enjoy Christmas by not letting us wish anyone else a merry Christmas. I think I just might have to kick some people's asses this year, mwahahah!

That's why I love a customer contact at my company who's VERY jewish and every year sends us gift baskets with "Merry Christmas" written on them. She's great :D

Who cares if it is called Christmas or Xmas? The point is all your friends from Montreal come back to Toronto to see their parents and you get to get drunk with them. As for Christmas proper, it sucks when you have no money to spend on gifts, and your 7 year old niece is literally on your ass for the the entire event.
