Have you ever seen "From Dusk 'Til Dawn"? As I recall, it was a perfectly normal movie until the very end when the vampires were introduced. It was weird.

My friend wanted to pitch a series about vampire Abe Lincoln trying to escape vamp hunter John Wilkes Booth. I think werewolf Andrew Jackson figured in there somehow, too.

Personally, I think the Deep Throat one would sell.

Since I just read "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" I think the Nixon/Vampires would definitely sell. On the other hand vampires, zombies and werewolves have been done. Could you invent a new creature?

Barrow-wights are under-utilized. The scene in Tolkien was incredibly scary, I've always thought.

Or what about Skinwalkers? Those can be pretty creepy.
