Nikkei Entertainment has done another poll, this time surveying 3000 people ages 10-59 to find out which celebs they think outshine the rest in the looks department.

leah isnt pretty. its just the makeup. jun's got the appeal and charm, but he's not exactly mr good looking if you compare him with the others on the list.

wow, a lot of girls have been booted out by pretty boys... especially those who are at the height of their idol popularity... kitagawa keiko, inoue mao, horikita maki, aoi yuu (though these girls are more of the cutesy type, but then again aragaki/masami is here), aya ueto, namie amuro, kuroki meisa, anna tsuchiya (how can anyone forget?)...

ANYWAY, i love how erika sawajiri still creates buzz even after all the bad press and the fact that she's gazillion miles away in london. she's someone people either hate or love. oh well, still love her for breaking away from the horde of burikko girls trying hard to act all naive! you go bitch!

Inoue Mao and Horikita Maki are homely looking. I think Kitagawa Keiko and Kuroki Meisa should've made it on the list but they never seem to do well on public polls. Erika Sawajiri admittedly has one of the cutest faces in the Japanese entertainment industry but I wish she'd have that gnarly tooth fixed already.

i know right! she's really stunning in photos when her lips are slightly curled into a smile, but quite the opposite when she glows open-mouthedly with that darn one tooth out of place.

but then again i guess that slight imperfection makes her more approachable despite her "erika-sama" ways, and she makes being a bipolar bitch and sweet-looking girl work to her advantage. can you imagine her as that dying girl in one liter to trans-morphing into the pissed, cross-armed bitch at a presscon? i must say, that girl is amazing. not to mention having a genius pr staff to keep her afloat in polls like this.
