Nikkei Entertainment has done another poll, this time surveying 3000 people ages 10-59 to find out which celebs they think outshine the rest in the looks department.

Fukuyama Masaharu is very good looking for a man his age. I heard that Kame has a busa-kawaii or ugly but cute appeal in Japan and his face isn't considered to be conventionally good looking by Japanese people.

this is so true!! kame has an appeal, but not particularly and good looking at first glance (like takki or pi). at certain angles perhaps... but when i saw him in nobuta wo produce all i could think of was, "hmm, this guy has interesting eyebrows." lol.

imho, if he WAS NOT a johnny's i don't think people would give any attention to his "supposed" good looks at all. maybe in the talent category (not singing!)... it's all in the labels they carry anyway.

and somebody please explain why kame won best jeanist twice? skinny and all? don't get it.

Kame has skinny hips and those always look good in jeans.

so that may explain kame's best jeanist gig just a bit but... isn't a full yet firm booty also a category? i mean, he's a bit flat "behind" there. i mean, levi's and guess jeans models don't necessarily have muscular models but even the lanky ones have booties enough to fit well in jeans.

but then again, this is japanese fashion where domoto tsuyoshi is more of a fashion icon than a tranny mess, so anything goes. *resists to mention those hideously sparkly, feathery and tacky JE concert outfits***

Well.. men are supposed to have skinny hips. According to fashion people at least. But jeans do look good on him, IMO.

i'd say Fukuyama Masaharu is just as good looking as kimura. (if you think kimura is good looking)

Kimura is.. Masaharu isn't. But that's my opinion. The Japanese have definitely a different opinion compared to mine.
