Marcus walked with care over the fallen rock. But he knew this was a hard time and was he going to fight with Viktor or was he and his hybrid ass going to have to take Rigel and fight for the Vampire alone as out casts

The older Viking Vampire stood and looked at Marcus and then at Viktor, back at Marcus. this must be worse then i thought, both elders awake. "My Lord Marcus!," Jarad knelled and looked up at the smaller man. "I am at the service of my Lords, and my Lady. She is safe deep in the catacombs?"
Mother Night! Kraven silently cursed as he looked to Viktor.
Please let me go! Please - please! He was stuck until either elder let him go.
The disgraced vampire kept looking from the over sized blond to Viktor. He really didn't want to be around for when the news was broken to Amelia's bodyguard that she was dead. Because of Kraven.
(Eh, I’m a little lost here with all the new Ocs, so I hope my post isn’t OOC)
Where was Kraven? The elder realized the boy was missing when he finally reached the underground chambers of Ordoghaz. He left an exasperated sigh, Kraven was in trouble again, for sure. Whenever Viktor didn’t know where the younger vampire was, Kraven was stirring up trouble. Willingly or not… Why couldn’t he just do as he was told for once?
He almost reached the door that was leading back to the surface, but stopped the last moment. No, he was in public now and he couldn’t go out to look for him. Not while so many pairs of eyes were set on him. Viktor realized that of all the vampires around him, not a single warrior could be found. They were all too scared.
What a disappointment…
Viktor tapped his foot, he hated having to do that, but it seemed that he had to reassure them that everything would be all right. Comfort them…
It was then that a man was practically tossed before his feet. A mortal? A… priest?
"Explain yourself! You say my house was attacked by mortals?”
Kraven wilted but stayed kneeling as Viktor snapped at him. "This mortal confessed it him and other priests that caused this attack."
The disgrace vampire wondered if he should say that Rigel who'd been holding the mortal. So he inprovised. "The death dealer's captured this one."
Kraven hissed at the stupid unconscious priest, partly becuase he was pissed the mortals, partly because he was worried about Merlynn and partly because he was slighlty miffed the younger priest hadn't said anything about this attack!
As soon as he could, Kraven was going to call the young man and find some answers!
Resting on the wall waiting Marcus watched as Viktor praised and yet didn't poor Kraven. But he knew that Kraven was at fault in the long run for all the problems and more that will come. Marcus sighed hard and heavy. His eyes watched the tall firm warrior. He knew this man was most loyal to Amelia but all the elders were sacred to him. Jarad lived by the code of the warrior.
Once Kraven left Marcus looked at Viktor, watching him place his hand over his face to hide what pride and pleasure Kraven did bring him.
"So Jarad you have returned?" Marcus asked. "Where have you been?"
The tall blond looked for one elder to the other. "Yes My Lord Marcus." He knelled knowing that Marcus was the Elder in command for he was the one to be woken. "Her Grace Lady Amelia had me come three weeks later, for i told her not to come it wasn't safe, and she was angered at me and punished me." He lower his head. "Is she resting well my Lord Marcus?"
Viktor looked at the kneeled tall warrior and then at Marcus. He sighed deeply. Couldn’t he just avoid trouble for once? Pass up the responsibility to another? He should let Marcus take over for a change. But he knew that Marcus was unstable and he might mess up.
In fact, for the time being, Marcus was good for one thing.
“We’ll talk in a minute, Jarad…” Viktor replied to the warrior nodding to Marcus to say nothing and follow him a little further.
“Look, I won’t pretend this whole destruction hasn’t affected me…” he whispered to Marcus when they got far enough. Viktor was still too upset for what had just happened and no matter how he tried he couldn’t even hide it anymore. Not from Marcus…
“Could you… could you do something for me, Marcus?” he all by pleaded.
“Well… I’m not going to patronize you any more, nor say another word about your current state… not now anyway.” he sighed. “We really cannot afford quarrelling right now. But the thing is, Marcus… well, those priests may be out there and even if they’re not, we’re still vulnerable with a great part of the house destroyed. Many walls collapsed and if one tries to intrude the mansion he’ll be able to do it without much effort. I cannot use vampire guards because the dawn is close and until the sun sets we’re pretty much unable to do a thing. So that leaves me no other choice

Marcus sighed heavy and looked away for a moment. Then he looked at Viktor. "I born to serve MY people. I will not let them down in this hour of our pain

"Yes, Viktor, What do you want?" Marcus was becoming tired of being nothing but a thing in Viktors eyes.
All Marcus wanted right now was for Viktor to remember that Marcus was an Elder and that nothing was Marcus' fault.
He stood and folded his arms over his chest.
