"It's not your fault, Morgan. And you shouldn't worry too much about me; you've got a lot to deal with already. I'm...I'm fine."
Andrew looked about ready to fall over, Morgan should have never brought the sholarly father along with him. He simply wasn't meant for this.
He was about to leave with the Andrew when his little cell went off. "One moment Andrew," he held up his hand and turned away to answer the phone.
Looking to the small display, Morgan grinned savagly. "Mykel!" he all but purred his second's name. The father knew the younger man was completely devoted to him. "You are safe? I wouldn't want my best man to have come to harm."
He smiled a private smile for the man, "We are on our way back from the vampyres. But we have lost a great many men." Morgan scowled, he would have to recuit more fighters. He silently cursed the damn creatures.
Rigel slinked closer to the humans, he crawled like a predatory panther through the nearby undergrowth. He made no noise at all as he crept silently closer and closer. He was already in his full hybid form - it seemed stupid to not use the gift that Marcus had gave him - especially when it was so very useful to their cause at this moment in time

Even as Morgan spoke on the cell phone, Andrew leaned against him so they were pressed back to back. He was torn, wishing he had come and, at the same time, wishing he had not. However, as compelling as fear could be, Andrew’s thirst for knowledge and worry for Morgan’s safety-although he doubted he’d actually be able to protect the good father in an emergency-were stronger.
Glancing up, he caught sight of a flash of blue color so dark it was almost black in between the normal brown and green of their current surroundings. How peculiar… Andrew thought idly, just seconds before the blot of color materialized into a humanoid being. The priest’s green eyes widened in shock at seeing such a bizarre creature and horror when it grabbed him

Rigel snarled briefly in pain as several bullets penetrated his body, he wasn't overly worried though - as the UV wouldn't kill him. He would require medical attention to stop the bleeding and remove the bullets though - but that could wait until he had safely delivered his prize. He knew exactly the vampire to deliver the priest too - the master of torture himself.
Yes, Lord Viktor would have a field day questioning this one.
Rigel made the mansion in good time, just before the sunrise and the first thing he saw was his fellow hybrid and sire standing outside with Soren and his surrogate child.
Striding forwards triumphantly Rigel dumped thr traumatised priest on the ground in front of Marcus, keeping a hand on the simpering mortal's shoulder all the time - nails fully embedded in soft yielding flesh.
"This one will tell us all we need to know...or he'll suffer the consequences for his silence."
"Father are you safe?" Mykel called out. He ran down the stairs and helled out. "Mount up get more ammo. Fater Morgan is under attack by those blood sucking fucker."
Running into the small barn the young middle-eastern boy grabbs a black motercycle and black helm. He rushes off to be by his masters side.
Morgan paced, he kept glaring in the direction of the damned.
"Hurry Mykel!" he kept repeating, before turning to re arm himself with weapons he'd need to fight the vampyres. He would not leave Andrew with these creatures!
He road like the wind in hopes of getting there in time. He ran his hand over the large weapon he had strapped at his side. The Heckler & Koch PSG1 was packed in tight. He felt the pack of UV rounds that was packed just as tight.
Smiling to himself he moved up the mountain side and slipped in next to Morgan. Turning off his bike he jumped off and untied the rifle gathered the rounds and walked over next to Father Morgan. Dropping to one knee Mykel looked down and spoke. "By your side my Father."
He felt such relief when he the all too familar sound of Mykel's bike. "Thank you dear lord." He quietly prayed. He didn't have to look down to know the younger man was there.
The father reached down and gave his ever faithful second a loving caresse to his bearded chin. "Mykel," he looked to the growing overcast sky, "We must hurry if we are to save Andrew." He felt the first drop of rain. "God is furious I have failed." he quietly spoke, he should have not let Andrew been abducted and now he was being punished.
"Come Mykel." He outlined those full soft lips before checking all of his weapons and set off towards the house of the damned.
"God is furious I have failed." Father Morgan added to the drops of rain. "Father, I am sure your God has a plan for us." Mykel looked up as his face was touched.
"Come Mykel,"Morgan spoke. Mykel felt his lips touched as he smiles at his Fathers touch.
Touching his gun and standing he pulled out five rounds and loaded his weapon. "Let me go Father. I will bring him back alive, or we will both be dead." Mykel looked over the land, "Father Andrew will not fail us Father. I will see to it."
Morgan gave the other man a knowing look. "Andrew is still a friend, Mykel." He smiled gently. "I would hate to see him turned that which is cursed by god himself."
He pulled the man's head down to kiss his forhead. "I trust you make the right decision." Morgan, fingered his own weapon, "If you do not come out in 30 minutes..." He bowed his head, "I will assume you have fallen." He looked to those large brown eyes, "Come back to me Mykel and with Andrew."
"I will pray for you my son." Morgan's touch linger just long enough on the smooth desert sun kissed skin. "I have faith you will come back."
Morgan took one last good look at his ever faithful second. Mykel couldnt' fail! The older man couldn't afford to loose two of his dearest friends in one night.
Holding out his rifle Mykel took readings form his scope and then pulled it back for him eye.
"Better to give 45 min's, it will be tricky." The haired boy stood to half stance and moved over the hill to the wooded sides.and was gone for view like a snake in the bushes.
