"It's not your fault, Morgan. And you shouldn't worry too much about me; you've got a lot to deal with already. I'm...I'm fine."

Andrew looked about ready to fall over, Morgan should have never brought the sholarly father along with him. He simply wasn't meant for this.

He was about to leave with the Andrew when his little cell went off. "One moment Andrew," he held up his hand and turned away to answer the phone.

Looking to the small display, Morgan grinned savagly. "Mykel!" he all but purred his second's name. The father knew the younger man was completely devoted to him. "You are safe? I wouldn't want my best man to have come to harm."

He smiled a private smile for the man, "We are on our way back from the vampyres. But we have lost a great many men." Morgan scowled, he would have to recuit more fighters. He silently cursed the damn creatures.

Rigel slinked closer to the humans, he crawled like a predatory panther through the nearby undergrowth. He made no noise at all as he crept silently closer and closer. He was already in his full hybid form - it seemed stupid to not use the gift that Marcus had gave him - especially when it was so very useful to their cause at this moment in time ( ... )

Even as Morgan spoke on the cell phone, Andrew leaned against him so they were pressed back to back. He was torn, wishing he had come and, at the same time, wishing he had not. However, as compelling as fear could be, Andrew’s thirst for knowledge and worry for Morgan’s safety-although he doubted he’d actually be able to protect the good father in an emergency-were stronger.

Glancing up, he caught sight of a flash of blue color so dark it was almost black in between the normal brown and green of their current surroundings. How peculiar… Andrew thought idly, just seconds before the blot of color materialized into a humanoid being. The priest’s green eyes widened in shock at seeing such a bizarre creature and horror when it grabbed him ( ... )

Rigel snarled briefly in pain as several bullets penetrated his body, he wasn't overly worried though - as the UV wouldn't kill him. He would require medical attention to stop the bleeding and remove the bullets though - but that could wait until he had safely delivered his prize. He knew exactly the vampire to deliver the priest too - the master of torture himself.

Yes, Lord Viktor would have a field day questioning this one.

Rigel made the mansion in good time, just before the sunrise and the first thing he saw was his fellow hybrid and sire standing outside with Soren and his surrogate child.

Striding forwards triumphantly Rigel dumped thr traumatised priest on the ground in front of Marcus, keeping a hand on the simpering mortal's shoulder all the time - nails fully embedded in soft yielding flesh.

"This one will tell us all we need to know...or he'll suffer the consequences for his silence."

Andrew was hosed. Screwed over. If Morgan couldn't save him then who could?! Oh, God...Morgan. Andrew fervently hoped his companion was alright. Then he was abruptly and rudely deposited in front of a black-haired and very beautiful young man. The landing hurt, and the priest was sure he'd have bruises, but his brain was working on overdrive, emotions and adrenaline temporarily overriding pain.

This being looks as if one of Michaelangelo's sculptures has come to life, he thought, remembering the elegant work he'd always enjoyed. Andrew knelt silently on the ground, watching the vampires and trembling slightly. They all seemed to be looking to this raven-haired man as if he was their leader. Could he...could he possibly...be an ElderThen those razor nails that had been gripping his shoulder cut through his coat and shirt, all the way to his skin. A little blood trickled from the puncture wounds, and Andrew choked on a muffled cry of pain. The sudden sensation was sharp, and Andrew prayed the monstrosity would release it's cruel grip ( ... )

The hybrid retained his changed form, despite the shocked looks that Nathaniel was throwing him. The man might try to run, it was best that he kept up his advantage that the form gave him.

"I'm only an assistant; my j-job is to take notes. P-p-please, I don't know anything."

Rigel scowled and looked briefly to Marcus, addressing his sire with his proper title since they were in company.

"My Lord, I don't believe him for a minute. He knows their plans and even if he doesn't he knows names, locations, possibly weaponary, what information they have on us...and most of all he knows the reason behind this attack."

Nathaniel looked round from Marcus as he saw that the elder was too busy looking over his shoulder at something to answer him.

Looking round, Nathaniel felt his jaw drop and his eyes widen as he took in the form of Rigel. But not Rigel as he knew him, this 'thing' wasn't a vampire...it was...was...he wasn't sure what it was but it scared him.

Scenting the air he could smell the combined scents of vampire and lycan coming off of his friend.

"Rigel?"

Then Nathaniel noted that Rigel carried a human with him, one of the fanatical priests.

His fangs elongated on sight and his bared the deadly canines as he shot the human an icy blue look.

The first thing Kraven saw when he slipped out the door of the mansion was Marcus, then Nate, then... Rigel!?

The ex regent stared as his one time lover! Stood rooted the spot! "No!" he barely uttered before looking away. That was not Rigel! Rigel would be thinking! Rigel wouldn't have done such a rash transformation! Hell's fire! Any members of the coven could out! The death dealers could see him!

The former regent snarled and stormed to the little group, he was about to snap his old lover when he caught sight of what Rigel was holding down.

"A human!" he snapped before seeing the priestly collar around his neck! "A Priest!" He gaped from one vampire to another as he felt his claws grow and his eyes shift.

"HUMANS did this!" his hands clenched and unclenched. Kraven was falling quickly into the blood fury as he lunged at the priest gripping the pathetic man's clothing yanking him close as he snarled.

"You did this to HIS house!" how he wanted to sink teeth into that neck to drain the man dry for Viktor!

(ooc: To any vamps besides Kraven: HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!!!)

"A human! A Priest! HUMANS did this!"

Just Andrew’s head whirled around (the bizarre monstrosity still had the rest of his body in its Herculean grip) at the sound of the voice that sent a chill through him. A vampire was quickly approaching, unbridled fury streaking across his face. His eyes flashed a vehement ice-blue, and before the good father could do a thing, the infuriated creature grabbed him, flinging him hard against a wall and holding him there.

Unable to do anything, Andrew clung to his faith and prayed, the Latin words of the Our Father coming instantly to his lips: “Pater noster, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra.”
(Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.)

Oh, God, Andrew thought ferevently, you are my way, my truth, and my light. I won’t lose faith.“Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte ( ... )

(ooc: cackles! Ha as if!!!)

Fury blinded Kraven as he continued to squeeze the pathetic mortal's neck! The priestly white collar crumpling under his fingers - when it struck him!

Priests!

He relented after the stupid human passed out, but still held on to him as he stared at the collar.

Merlynn....

Was this priest with Merlynn? Kraven looked to Viktor's house again, his heart ached at the destruction. Why hadn't the boy told him anything! Kraven thought the priest and he were friends!

With a snarl, Kraven hefted the mortal over his shoulder, he would take him to Viktor! It wasn't Kraven's place to execute the mortal! But Vitkors!

Kraven carried the mortal as if he were nothing, back he went, back to where the elder had retreated to. Once he found Viktor, Kraven tossed the wretched priest on the floor.

"Mortals did this!" he snarled.

Marcus watched the sunrise. He didn't care for this human and he knew it was the humans. This man was weak and useless. The sky was fulled with dark heavy rain clouds, right for this time of year. Marcus smiled.

"Get Soren and as many who can work while it rains. Save as many was we can and then cover the rest for how. The Gods are on our side this day."

Marcus watched the woods and the hills. The movement was slow and tedious. He felt he was being stared in the eyes of he man he would now hunt down and kill with his bare hands. "Morgan!" He sighed coldly. He didn't care what Kraven did to this priest.

"You did this to HIS house!" Kraven called out, and the pain ripped at Marcus like a hot wire from hells gate."

"Viktor," Marcus whispered as his heart fell.

He hurt everywhere!

He'd been on his way to the kitchens to get something to eat when the house had fallen down atop him.

Damen was stuck and dazed under the rubble that had fell on top of hi as he tried to gain his bearings. He coughed and found the only thing he could move was his hand, so he did, hoping somebody would see him!

"Help!" he barked between coughs, "Please! Somebody HELP ME!"

The young vampire felt for sure he was going to die this time. He should have confronted his Sire! He should has approached Soren! He should have done a great many things since becoming immortal.

Now he felt for sure he was done for.

(ooc: is Damen Kraven's biological child or did Kraven turn him?)

Soren nodded at Marcus's orders and slipped off to look for survivors. Unless rain really started coming down, he still wouldn't have much time. As for the priests, they'd be dealt with...sooner or later. The human that had already been captured didn't matter. If nothing else, Soren was confident in Viktor's ability to be..."persuasive".

Suddenly shouting caught his attention. "Help! Please! Somebody HELP ME!"Soren turned toward the kitchen, scrambling through the demolished door and sliding down a pile of debris. Under a pile of rubble, he saw someone's hand waving about. "Hold on, lad! I'll get you out ( ... )

(ooc: Kraven turned him.)

"Hold on, lad! I'll get you out!"

Damen melted and waited as the debrie was lifted off him, he started coughing again as the dust and dirt drifted down atop him, but before long he was free and a strong hand pulling him out.

The youngers all but doubled over coughing, as he worked his lungs free of dust. It took a few seconds before he could take a deep enough breath and he felt a stron garm holding him up.

"Are you hurt? Can you walk?"

"Yes..." he wheezed, thumping his chest, his eyes blinking to clear them before he realized just whom had come to his rescue! Blue eyes widening Damen stuttered.

"S-soren!"

Ghods above! of all vampires to rescue him! Damen felt his knees go weak as he held on to the hand of his secrete infautation, not wanting to let go, yet so damn embarssesed all of sudden.

Damen felt his cheeks glow red, "Y-yes I am, I'm fine." he grinned goofiely, "T-thank you." He couldn't let go of the man's hand.

"S-soren!"

Soren's normally stoic face momentarily took on a quizzical look. Did he know this young vampire?

"Y-yes I am, I'm fine. T-thank you."

"Fine indeed," Soren replied. This fledging was definitely not fine. "You're welcome though."

The janissary glanced around furtively, trying to see any potential threats. The debris and rubble hid them, but they would eventually have to get out of here as soon as Soren was sure everything was clear...and as soon as the younger vampire stopped clutching his hand like there was no tomorrow. Not that Soren was surprised. The mansion was under attack, and the boy had been facing death. Of course he was nervous! However, Soren still had to practically pry his hand out of the fledgling's grasp.

"C'mon," he said. "I'll get you to the catacombs; you'll be safe there."

He was so damn nervous! This was Soren! Soren!

Damen hadn't realized he'd been holding the man's hand so tight until the older man all but yanked his hand free.

He blushed, "Sorry." Damen mumbled, chewing his lip. He couldn't take his eyes off the other man.

"C'mon," he said. "I'll get you to the catacombs; you'll be safe there."

"W-what?!" he stuttered, he didn't want to be left alone! Not again! "No I want to stay... Ah!" He reached for the man's arm, hissing and drawing back quickly having cut his hand on the whip that wrapped around older man's shoulder. "OW!" he pressed fingers to his hand in hopes of stopping the bleeding.

'Stupid!' he brated himself, how could he have forgotten about those weapons!
