i knew you'd see that comment. just to be perfectly clear, my only intention in the next few months is to write music with MY band and only my band, and to wrap up this album which is very important to me. the only thing i want a vacation from is the mania of going to shows and suffering insurmountable mental and physical stress. i want to bring the fun back to being in this beast. music is my religion, it is my faith, but when it stops being fun that is when it is time to take a step back and remember the things in life that are most important. friendships come first, and my number one priority at this point is to pull the tile filler from this shuttle so we can have a safe return to the start. then we can plan together for all future missions. god i'm such a geek.
