With the replicators still off-line, Lt. Shan made another appearance in the Mess Hall.

By all appearances, he was a victim of Post-Leave Syndrome as those in Sickbay liked to call it. One antenna drooped noticeably.

He dialed a number, hit the replicator again with his fist, cursed, hit it again, and cursed again, before finally removing his drink

In the other corner of the Mess, Spiegel was laughing at the peons and watching his blue skinned hero brood at his table. He fished a grease pencil out of one of the many pockets on his uniform, and started scribbling on something metallic, flat, and otherwise worthless, fished from a different pocket.

Shan's the man

Takin' a stand.

Teaching the peons a lesson,

On whom they shouldn't be messin'.

Spiegel shoved his grease pencil back into his pocket, swung past Shan's table, silently dropped the random poetry on the table next to the Andorian, and wanders out of the Mess whistling a happy tune.

OOC: Yeah, figured. I'm just trying to figure out how Spiegel would react. He doesn't seem the sort who'd just outright apologize, not even sure he knows how. He's an odd duck, he's an extrovert, but his people skills are lacking. I am pondering having him seek advice, being careful to omit names in his tale having been chastised.
