This is lovely-- whilst not quite the angst-fest you describe it to be, you do the bleak depressing thing very well, and excellent use of the source material! (is still giggling over Bodhisattva!Cas)

I love Dean and Cas, and their interaction is very very well done: my favourite has got to be: “Father, give me strength and please forgive me for what I am about to do if this human does not-“

And then when it looks like Cas might be dead-- I couldn't help but go "Oh Dean" a little; but I had hope. So I was SQUEEING like a fool when Dean kissed Cas and also greatly relieved. And then laughed my head off at Chuck. And Sam-- I could just imagine the puzzled look on his face at the sight of Dean trying to stick his head down Cas' throat.

Well, you know, Bodhisattva!Cas is strangely appropriate (in my weird world anyway. Lalala.) Also, as we have discussed my angst is too fluffy to really be angst. It's a failing. >.>

I'm a little surprised that people seem to like that line so much, though. I thought it was kind of funny but I don't think it was my favorite. I do like the frustration it implies, though. Like Dean is too stubborn to wake the hell up already.

Hee! Sam's reactions are always key.
