CTT: Those are my general feelings on the matter as well, honestly.
CTT: I would prefer that we are able to come to agreements on such matters as a group effort in his absence, rather than relying solely on a leader.
CTT: Not only would that hopefully put the issue of whether or not someone should lead in Karkat's stead aside, but once Karkat returns, it would likely make things much easier on him as well, since I know he will want to be leader again.
CTT: And this was...honestly quite stressful on him having to do much of this alone.
CTT: Having the ability to ask his group and receive civil answers would be nice, I'm sure.
CTT: I am still asking, however, mostly to insure the comfort levels of our teammates.
CTT: I would rather we not dissolve into arguments, confusion and fights because there is no one willing to handle everyone if necessary, or if desired...

CTT: Hopelessly optimistic, I do admit.
CTT: But for once that is really the only way I know how to approach a situation.
CTT: Though I will not be surprised if it does end in arguments, confusion and fights anyway, at least.

CTT: I hadn't expected anyone to listen to Karkat, as much as I hoped they would.

CTT: That is honestly my preferred outcome for this.
CTT: However, if it is a concern, it needs to be addressed and handled.
CTT: And if the majority of the group feels a leader is needed, then that is a matter which needs to be attended to.

CTT: Did he write a me a letter, or simply request that you tell me "I'm sorry" for him?
CTT: Because it will take more than that to make up for what he said.

CEB: all he told me was that he tried to send you a message but that it wouldn't go through.
CEB: THEN he told me to tell you for him.
CEB: i told him that it likely wouldn't be enough, but he told me to tell you anyway.
CEB: he also promised that he would leave you alone and stop calling you a witch.
CEB: and that's...worrisome.

CTT: Before, Karkat was the leader, and I his assistant of sorts.
CTT: It worked fairly well, save for a few kinks, such as when Gamzee became sober and decided it was a lovely idea to hunt us all.
CTT: We attempted to split the group between Azalea and Goldenrod, which went relatively well until "Captain Ampora" decided to leave for Goldenrod without word to their appointed leader, and without an okay.
CTT: And I am going to go out on a limb and say John?
CTT: You know he won't accept the position, Dave.

every time we didn't have a "leader", everything ran smoother.
i'm cool with us just doing whatever. it doesn't matter if we're all just gonna be sent home, anyway.

I'm unsure as to if I would or would not.
I think I would prefer to wait until I've the opinions of everyone on the matter before considering it.
Three believe we don't need leaders, yourself included.
One doesn't wish to have a leader other than Karkat, though at least gives me their vote of confidence.
One has agreed to listen to Eridan.
Dave wants John, though I doubt John will be easily coerced, if we're able to o that at all...
I don't know.

Thaaaat looks like a Dratini egg to me, which is a Dragon type if you couldn't guess. Not a bad present, but leaving it in your room just makes it a little bit creepy, I'd say.

Dratini? Thank you, I will be sure to look those up when I get a chance. And a Dragon type...I have yet to acquire one of those, so this is quite pleasing.

And yes, just a little. I have to question how they managed. I have not only locks, but a roommate...

I'd show you mine, but she tries to strangle me on a regular basis. ...rest assured they're not generally that vicious, mine just seems to be special that way, possibly courtesy of her previous trainer.

Doesn't your roommate leave the place too sometimes?

That's a relief. I'm already dealing with a Skitty who seems to think the best way to garner attention is to bite the nearest piece of exposed skin, I'm not sure I would enjoy a Dratini who felt the need to strangle me as well.

Perhaps yours has a special way of expressing affection? After all, children tend to pick and tease the kids they have crushes on in school.

Honestly, I'm not sure. I'm gone most of the day, and he's blind. I wouldn't expect him to leave often, but then I really don't know. He's fairly capable, so I wouldn't be surprised if he does.
