I haven't seen anything from him since before this started. I think he was covered in birds or something weird like that. I don't really remember; I didn't talk to the guy.

Professor Oak sent out a notice a couple days after people started passing out. These ghost bugs called Shedinja have been stealing the souls of people that look into the holes in their backs. He asked us to use these black balls on them and it'll release the soul that Shedinja stole. Then, people will get their soul back and wake up. And it's working. For some, anyway.
