For now, I'm stuck travelling to Cherrygrove City. At least it's an actual city and not some backwater town. And ( Read more... )

Um, sir, I do not think a suit would be useful on a journey such as this one.

[He isn't sure what a suit is, to be honest, but it sounds formal!]

As for the other Pokemon, it depends on where you go. Most attack when you walk into the brush, others will attack if provoked. However, I suggest keeping to the battles so that your pokemon may gain experience and become stronger. That is what this journey is supposedly about.

Maybe not, but it's useful to me. Barney Stinson is not Barney Stinson without his suit.

So, brush is good to avoid, as is provoking them. Got it. I don't know if I can go for that sort of thing. I just want to get home.

...Are you Barney Stinson, then? My name is Firion.

[Yeah, he's from that funny Final Fantasy world where they sometimes don't have last names.]

Yes, we all want to go home, I believe. But we are unsure as to how that will be possible. This world is peaceful, despite the attacks within the brush. Perhaps it would be better to make the best of this world for now until more news have been uncovered?

Yup, that's me. Firion huh? Odd name, but a bro's a bro. Good to meet you!

Guess it's the best thing I can do. Hopefully, someone will learn something soon. How long have you been here?

The Barnacle?

Yeah. The Barnacle.

... Very impressive.

Anyway, in response to your questions, yeah. They pretty much just attack all the time. But once your Pokemon get stronger, it's not as big a deal.

Ain't it though.

Great. Camping and creatures attacking me. Things couldn't get any worse. So, there's no really choice then.

What's so special about naming it 'Robin'? [Says the man who named his Tashigi.]

Well, you see, back home I got this friend named Robin, so it's the perfect name! A little bird called Robin.

Did she have a surname?

Scherbatsky. Why wouldn't she have a surname?

So far that I know, you can or can't have a battle when you encounter a Pokemon. But I suggest it's better to have a battle all the way.

What women like? Flowers and cute creatures maybe?

So I can escape if I need to? Great.

Oh shoot, that was a typo. Should be asking what the women are like. But flowers are a universal, and I like the creatures idea.

I could say it's fine to escape, but keep escaping won't help much though.

Oh? Women seem fine to me, nothing particular. Are you planning to date with those women?

Maybe not my pokemon, but me, yeah.

Of course. It would be kind of pathetic if I didn't try. For me at least.

Pidgey is the correct name. It doesn't resemble a pigeon very closely, but I don't think a robin is all that much closer.

I knew that. I called her Robin 'cause I got a friend with the same name.
