If you're heading for Azalea... [ Thoughtful. ] The only other way is if you go through the crossing, just past Violet City. It'd add a lot of travel time, though, just to get to Azalea.

Well... in that case, just use the shortcut past Violet to get to Goldenrod. There are no caves that way.
