And it really doesn't take long for to come crawling back, like a kitten drawn to a bowl of cream. She stands by the chocoalte fountain, staring at it in contemplation.

How to just lean in and open her mouth and let the chocolate pour in in a way that isn't unladylike...]

[ He watches her out of the corner of his eye. Odds are she'd just as soon skip the dipping and go straight for the chocolate, he suspects, but he's curious to see what she'll do. ]

[Okay, he'll just stand by the side and look at everything. Sure, Lucy used to line up all kinds of donuts for them back home, but this ... was a bit more.]

[ After refilling Ciel's teacup, Sebastian reappears by the door to smile invitingly at Cooper. ]

Help yourself. There's more than enough to go around; even my young master can't put away this much food in a day. I'd hate for it to go bad.

Let's call it a birthday gift. [ He glances toward Ciel, seated at the back of the lounge, but doesn't overtly indicate him. ]

[Ciel had woken up in the morning to find Sebastian missing which wasn't all together unusual. He had probably gone and picked up a job in the kitchen or something. Well he ought to put his one actual skill to use after all.

He comes downstairs to ask the receptionist if Sebastian was in the kitchens and stops dead in his tracks. Desserts everywhere! His stomach growls in anticipation and he makes his way slowly into the room where he encounters the butler, who wishes a bright happy birthday and explains today's menu.

Anybody who wants to sit and talk with Ciel or give him birthday wishes he will be in a corner of the room always with a plate full of something and a full tea cup. Feel free to thread here.]

[She approaches empty handed, fidgeting nervously] Ciel-san... Um, happy birthday.

Thank you Miss Chrome. I believe we are possibly. I am fourteen today.

Won't you help yourself to some fruit and chocolate dip. The tea is actually rather delicious as well.

I turned fourteen a few days ago. [She nods a little, as if determining this.]

I don't have a present for you, because I don't have any money, b-but... [She surges forward and drops a quick kiss on his cheek] H-Happy birthday!

[The Doctor couldn't find this more awesome if he tried. Though he was mildly discouraged by the apparent lack of bananas near the chocolate fountain, that was no problem--he produced a banana from his coat pocket, peeled it, and stuck the end in the chocolate fountain before taking a bite.]

[ Sebastian's been watching closely; he didn't miss the fact that the Doctor brought his own banana. He disappears from the room for the briefest moment, and when he returns, he's holding a tray with a bunch of bananas (and more strawberries, since they seem to be a favourite) artfully arranged in a spiral, which he places in the midst of the rest. ]

I do hope the chocolate's to your taste, sir? [ Smile smile. ]
