... but does the thought of Sarah Palin trying again thrill anyone other than Tina Fey?

I think the real problem is that she doesn't know anything about...well, anything, because she doesn't believe any of that stuff is important. How do you fix that in any length of time? I don't believe it's possible. She is another one of these terminally incurious people (like Bush but even more so), who need no inputs of information beyond what they already believe. You know...God has a plan for her and it will happen, regardless.

You're so right: the base *loves* her for that.

I was going to bring up the Nixon example as well. Palin could learn a great deal from his example.

The question is, with a pervasive blogosphere (I have no hope for the press), will she be able to get away with some things the way Nixon was able to during his era. The biggest damage to Palin was herself and her readily available history. Those were not concerns for Nixon during his time.

She's have to have some kind of platform first. I can't make heads or tails of her. She seems to just say yes to everything people ask her.

I would love for her to continue to Govern Alaska and complete her term, and run for a second one. I don't agree with her abortion stance, but I would vote for her for President. Of course this depends on who is running against her.

How could this country be so dumb?
Electing Barack Obama was practically asking to go poor.

Yes, we had a surplus after Clinton, and now we have a debt after Bush. I read an article (can't remember who wrote it so I can't cite it) but it basically said that our economy does akmost consistently better under Democrats than it does under Republicans. Go figure.
